In 1987, I got my first electric guitar, it was a Series A. it was a Jackson copy.

Two months later i was starting a band ! My best friend got himself a Series A bass, black precision copy. We were in heaven !!!

It is really hard to find information about it, so i decided to create a blog about those guitars. My goal is to find more informations about the history of those guitars.

The only thing that I know is that it was distributed by Kief Music LTD in Surrey, BC, Canada.

Some say that it was made in Korea.

The blog is here to share informations about those instruments, so, if you have any information, please feel free to share it with us !!!!

  7. I made a new body for my seriesA neck, do you want some pictures?

    1. I call this guitar: SeriesA rg350, the original wasn't in good codition to do what I want but the neck was in good condition so I decided to make a new body for it. It is made in affrican mahogany. Yes this is not a real SeriesA guitar but I consider that is a custom SeriesA guitar

  8. I got 3 Series A

the fender bullet looking (neck is straight and the feeling is really amazing

The gibson flying v body and neck are really well made and more confortable than any gibson v the sound is excellent and the neck is amazing

The jackson dinky looking guitar, always liked the neck its like a fat strat with a jackson neck.. with better pickups it sing really well with JB humbucker

These guitar are pretty impressive they were made in the 80's and were the FIRST GUITAR BRAND from Korea so the quality HAD to be really high

  9. I have a Series A that looks just like the Jackson Soloist X Series SLX Taxicab Yellow. I bought it from a friend’s mom back in 2006. The floydrose bridge was cracked so I had it changed with a genuine Floydrose. Are these guitars any good?!

    1. More or less. Mine is made of plywood. so ... lol

But it was made well made in Korea in the 80' so, some maybe really good but you have to set it up and maybe change some parts like the tuning keys and pickups
